A hard case for the iPhone

My latest addition to the iPhone photography gear arrived today from sunny California & is an update to my Diff case.

I got the Diffcase some time ago, it’s a hard plastic case for the iPhone which comes with two tripod bushes, you can see it on the photo of my Triggertrap a few days ago.

The only problem with the Diff Case is that when the iPhone is safely inside, you can’t use the add-on magnetic lenses as the aperture for the lens is too small.

Someone in California obviously thought about this and they have designed a new back for the case. This one is solid rather than having an opening flap like the original, and the aperture is much bigger. They’ve also designed some lens holders into which you can slot the lens, insert it into the case and twist it so it gives the lens more protection against coming off the phone.
