Today’s shot shows one of my most recent purchases for the iPhone, a Triggertrap.
The Triggertrap is an App and a couple of leads which attach from the iPhone to the camera remote connector.
Basically, the Triggertrap can be used to fire the shutter of a DSLR camera by several different methods.
It uses the iPhone’s ability to detect sound & movement and will fire the camera when it detects any noise or movement in the image, it can fire as a normal remote release, timelapse, distance lapse – where it will take a photo whenever the camera moves a certain distance, for instance when ficed to a car windscreen it could take a photo every 50 yards.
It can take a photo when it detects vibration or when a face enters the shot, it can do HDR timelapses, there are all sorts of possibilities.
