A New App
Today’s shot comes from a walk into town and is another iPhone shot.
I have a new App called KitCam, which is a little like Hipstamatic in that it comes with different lens, film and border effects.
Film Set
Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are shooting their new film “End of the World” in my home town.
The lights on the currently empty Town Hall, have been set up for some night scenes in the town.

Eastcheap in Letchworth
I made a tutorial for my iPhoneography website today. I wanted to show how to use Photosynth, a panorama app for the iPhone.
This was the finished result and shows a street in the town centre.
Letchworth Houses
Today’s shot was taken during a bike ride around the outskirts of Letchworth.
This is a row of old houses on the road from Letchworth Hall Hotel towards Willian village.

Autumn with old Technology
Inspired by a thread on the Photography Forum I used. I dug out my first ever digital camera.
In 1999/2000 I got a Casio QV-8000X 1.3MP digital camera. It was great and had a lens you could swivel around so you could still see the screen at any angle.

I was out in the town centre with just a couple of old box cameras and was struck by the reflection in this empty shop window.

Getting Wet
This shot was take during a cycle home from the town centre.
It started pouring, which was nice when you’re out in a T-shirt and shorts. Unfortunately, you can’t really see the effect of the rain here.

Telford Morton
I’m not sure who he was but he lived in Letchworth and lived 1916 – 2001.
His sculpture is in Willian Arboretum which I pass when I’m cycling on the Letchworth Greenway.

I’ve photographed this building several times over the years. I love the design and the greens and blues in the glass.
St Michael’s
Today’s shot is another of the churches around the town centre. This one is St Michael’s in the Broadway.

New App
Today’s shot is on the iPhone with a brand new black and white App, ‘MPro’.
The app is another that shoot sin black and white only and has a number of on screen filters.

Testing out a new app on the iPhone. This one is ‘Hueless’ and allows you to see the B&W effect live in camera.
Grammar School Decay
Today’s shot is another on the compact Lumix TZ30.
This one was taken on a walk into town and shows the old Letchworth Grammar School which fronts the Broadway in Letchworth.
