These bad boys arrived in the post today. A set of off-camera ETTL triggers by Yongnuo to take use with off-camera flashgun work.
So I’ve constructed the model soldiers and this is them having been undercoated with primer spray.
Once they’re dry, I can begin painting them.

I saw the moon in a late afternoon walked in to town and shot it with the compact.

Today’s shot comes from an American football game in Cambridge, where the 5 times National Champions, Hertfordshire University Hurricanes, took on the Cambridge University Pythons.
There was some kind of anti-recession festival in the town centre today.
I’ve not got a clue what that means, other than there was a marquee for the Scalextric Collectors Club. They had a huge race track and were letting the kids have a go.

Today saw the elections for the new Police & Crime Commissioners.
Apart from being a total waste of money, and an excuse to get the police under more political party control, I haven’t got a clue what any of the candidates were standing for.

I stuck the camera on a tripod on Bulb mode and lit a sparkler. I fired the shutter with a remote trigger, waved the sparkler about a bit and then closed the shutter, at which point the flash fired (second curtain sync).
I bought a new laptop today. My old one seems to be completely dead, so I treated myself to a brand new 8GB RAM machine.
