More Power
To go with my new flashguns, I thought I’d better stock up on some batteries.

This arrived in the post this week. It’s a video camera.
Today’s shot is of one of my latest acquisitions, a new Yongnuo YN565EX, which is the Yongnuo equivalent of the Canon 580 EXII. Only it costs 1/3 of the price of the Canon.
Today’s photo comes from a cycle ride around the north of Letchworth out in the fields.
I liked the opaque nature of the sky as the pylon disappears into the fog.
Today’s shot comes from another concert. This one was from my choir’s Christmas concert at the United Reformed Church in Baldock.
Today’s shot is of the North Hertfordshire College building in the Broadway in Letchworth Town Centre.
I don’t do much street photography, but really should get into it a bit more.
Today’s shot was taken at around 7.15 in the morning as I arrived home from a night shift.
We get lots of these in the garden every day.
These bad boys arrived in the post today. A set of off-camera ETTL triggers by Yongnuo to take use with off-camera flashgun work.
So I’ve constructed the model soldiers and this is them having been undercoated with primer spray.
Once they’re dry, I can begin painting them.
When I was much younger, I used to collect, paint and wargame with miniature figures.
A few years ago I sold my collection on ebay, but over the last 2 or 3 years have been buying some 28mm plastic Napoleonic figures.
Today’s shot was taken before going to bed. I decided to try a macro shot with the compact of the TV screen.
I saw the moon in a late afternoon walked in to town and shot it with the compact.
Another quick shot of Tess as we went for a walk over to Norton Common.
Just a quick shot of Tess in the garden before I went off to work.
My middle daughter is home from university to work at the Police Commissioner Elections.
Today’s shot was another on a cycle ride. I noticed the sunset as I crossed over the top of the A1 Motorway.
I bought a new laptop today. My old one seems to be completely dead, so I treated myself to a brand new 8GB RAM machine.
Today’s shot was taken on a cycle ride. I stopped off to grab a few film shots on a box camera and fired off one of the same subject on the phone.
I went out into the countryside north of Letchworth with a couple of old box cameras and some 120 film.
Today’s shot was taken during a bike ride around the outskirts of Letchworth.
This is a row of old houses on the road from Letchworth Hall Hotel towards Willian village.
Today’s shot was taken on my walk into town.
I’ve posted a few different shots of the Town Hall, which has been empty for a couple of years.
Today’s shot shows where I spend most of my time away from work.
Fortunately, it’s only me who has to sit here.
Tonight I broke my record in cycling. I only started 2 months ago and could barely manage a couple of miles.
Now I go out 4 or 5 times a week and ride between 5 and 15 miles.
Today’s shot was taken on a bike ride home from the town centre.
This is my bike setup for an evening ride. I love riding at night and love riding in the rain, which is just as well in the UK.
