Did it!
Today’s shot was taken around 22.30hrs after a drive out into the countryside.
The sky was so clear tonight I thought I’d try a few star shots. I headed out of town into the rural area of North Hertfordshire and set up the tripod at the side of the road. The shot is looking south over Newnham village towards the light pollution of Letchworth, Hitchin and Stevenage.
The camera was tripod mounted and on manual settings. This particular shot was 20 seconds at f7.1 on ISO 640. Any more than 20 seconds and you start to see blur in the stars as they move across the sky.
