A Walk over to the Lakes

Today’s shot shouldn’t have happened.

I turned up for work at 7am only to find I should have started at 9am to attend a day’s course.

So rather than hang around for a couple of hours I took the opportunity to have a walk around Stanborough Lakes.

Beautiful weather, not many people about and a fair display of ducks and birds.

This one was taken on the iPhone, but am considering getting up an hour earlier and taking the DSLR and 600mm down there for a shot at getting some Grey Herons & Cormorants.
