Did it!
Today’s shot is of my lovely daughter, Laura.
I fitted a ring-flash attachment to my flashgun, mounted it on the camera, and approached Laura as she was flicking through Ebay on the computer. Depth of field was kept to a minimum by using the f1.8 aperture on the Canon 50mm lens.
The shot possibly looks more formal than it was; Laura was on the computer, I took a few of her looking at the screen and then asked her to look at me. It had to be quite quick as she’s had so many years of posing for dad she gets bored of it very quickly.
