Today’s shot was taken out of curiosity. I had the Lumix on the desk and tried to take a shot on macro settings.
I used the in built flash on the camera which is the shot on the left, you can see part of the subject gets blocked of light from the flash by the lens, as the camera is only an inch or so from the batteries.
I wondered whether I could use the inbuilt flash to trigger one of my DSLR flashguns, which it does.
The shot in the right was taken lit by my Lumopro flashgun with a Light Sphere diffuser attached at 1/64th power. Even so it completely obliterates the light from the Lumix, and what’s more the camera was on manual settings and taken at 1/2000 sec!
Pretty neat.
It will be interesting to see if I can do some Strobist type shot with a few flashguns fired off the Lumix.
