Another walk into town, another opportunity for a photo.
Another walk into town, another opportunity for a photo.
Today’s photo is part of a sculpture installation situated beside the Town Hall in Letchworth Garden City.
Today’s shot is another I took after I got home from work around 11.30pm.
Today’s shot is another one squeezed in at the end of the day after a late shift.
Today’s shot was taken after work in the kitchen at home.
Today’s photo is another self-portrait taken with my compact camera.
Today’s photo was taken on my usual walk into the town centre at Letchworth Garden City.
I’m not sure what you call this, an art installation, statues? The little water fountains have lights which change colour and the three brass monoliths represent flames, I think.
Today’s shot shows the results of my labours this afternoon planting some chilli seeds.
Today’s shot was taken around 22.30hrs after a drive out into the countryside.
Today’s shot is a photo of a computer 2GB memory chip, which arrived yesterday as a replacement for one which failed a while ago in my main PC. I thought I’d grab a shot of it before putting it in the PC (it’s now fitted).
Today’s shot is a photo of our pet Collie, Tess, watching the Magician Show on BBC.
Today’s photo comes from Letchworth Garden City Town Hall.
Thursday night is Camera Club night in Letchworth and tonight was the first of our internal club competitions of the year.
Members of the club submit photos into an open competition which is judged by an external professional judge. Points are awarded and at the end of the night the top ten are announced.
I took today’s shot whilst taking out Border Collie for a walk.
This was another last minute photo taken of my daughter just before she went to bed. We just grabbed a scarf off the kitchen table to give her a bit of an air of mystery.
I’ve been a member of this choir for many years, apart from photography, singing is my other great passion.
I saw the potential in this shot yesterday as I was making my way home from work. As I got nearer Letchworth the sun started to dip towards the horizon. By the time I had found a suitable place to park at the back of Willian village the sun had dipped below and was lost.
You know things are getting desperate in the search for a daily photo when you have to stoop to taking self-portraits.
I see the war memorial in the town centre most times I venture in to town, which is usually several times a week as we live so close.
This shot was taken on my compact camera during an outing with a couple of film cameras. I always try to carry the compact when I’m out and about giving me two cameras at all times (including the iPhone).
When you have to take a photo every day and you work full time and work night shifts occasionally so you don’t actually see any daylight, you sometimes have to be a bit inventive when finding subject matters.
This was another shot taken on a night shift when I got in from work.
Today’s shot was a little light tent studio action on the kitchen table in my 80cm light tent. The camera is lit with 2 Canon EX-580 II flashguns which were fired remotely using Pocket Wizards.
I obtained a licence to shoot professional league soccer in late 2010 and on my free weekends during the season I can be found at various soccer clubs throughout the south east.
Today’s shot was taken as I got out of bed after a night shift.
This was the view from my bedroom window over the roofs of the houses opposite.
I’ve entitled this one as ‘Tess 1′ for the simple reason that I expect to be taking quite a few more shots of our Border Collie over the next year.
Another shot taken at work on a night shift. I managed to grab this one as I came back from my dinner break around 2 in the morning.
Working a night shift limits the photography opportunities given that you are up all night working and asleep during daylight hours.
Taken on a little trip out in North Herts whilst I was putting a couple of old film cameras through their paces.
