Another Hobby – Phase Two
So I’ve constructed the model soldiers and this is them having been undercoated with primer spray.
Once they’re dry, I can begin painting them.

When I was much younger, I used to collect, paint and wargame with miniature figures.
A few years ago I sold my collection on ebay, but over the last 2 or 3 years have been buying some 28mm plastic Napoleonic figures.
TV Abstract
Today’s shot was taken before going to bed. I decided to try a macro shot with the compact of the TV screen.
Moon over Letchworth
I saw the moon in a late afternoon walked in to town and shot it with the compact.
Jupiter & her Moons
I took this shot after I got home at around 3 in the morning. The sky was incredibly clear and Jupiter was very bright in the sky.
I stuck a 1.4 converter onto my 600mm lens and tried to shoot Jupiter.

I got this in the post today.
I recently bought a Cree torch which is extremely bright, so I thought I’d get one for cycling.
Cambridge Pythons -v- Hertfordshire Hurricanes
Today’s shot comes from an American football game in Cambridge, where the 5 times National Champions, Hertfordshire University Hurricanes, took on the Cambridge University Pythons.
Taking me back
There was some kind of anti-recession festival in the town centre today.
I’ve not got a clue what that means, other than there was a marquee for the Scalextric Collectors Club. They had a huge race track and were letting the kids have a go.

Sunset over the A1
Today’s shot was another on a cycle ride. I noticed the sunset as I crossed over the top of the A1 Motorway.
My New Laptop
I bought a new laptop today. My old one seems to be completely dead, so I treated myself to a brand new 8GB RAM machine.
